Computers & WIFI

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the library!

The library has 7 desktop computers (one attached to a scanner) that are available for use by library members.

The first hour is free to all library members.  Ask for details for charges after that.

Additional free time is available if your use of computers is severely restricted by a physical or cognitive difficulty.  It is also available to assist with job seeking and claiming Universal Credit.  Speak to a member of staff for help with this.

Computer time can be booked in advance – ask at the desk or telephone us.

Library computers can also be used to access a range of on-line resources provided by North Yorkshire Libraries. Most can also be accessed from home computers but a few can only be accessed from our library computers.
