National History Month – Do You have Old Photos of Local Places or Events?

Would you like to take part in a community display with your own local interest photos?

Do you have a shoebox full of memories tucked away in the attic? Or perhaps a framed snapshot of the High Street from decades ago hanging in your hallway?

Every picture tells a story and, as part of our Local History Month activities, we’d love to see yours! 

Whether it’s Stokesley Show, the Fair, or images of how the landscape of the town, or surrounding villages have changed over time , we’d love you to help us share and preserve our local history. 

Please call into the library with your photographs and we will talk you through how we will display and care for them.  At the end of the month come back and collect them or you can donate them to our local history collection.
