We offer a range of practical, affordable services to support your everyday business and professional needs — all in a friendly, welcoming environment. Printing, Copying, Scanning & Laminating
Need to print, copy, scan, or laminate? We’ve got you covered! Our library offers a range of handy document services to help you get things done.
Printing
As a North Yorkshire Libraries member, you can print documents in either black and white or colour, on A4 or A3 paper, with the option of single or double-sided printing. You can print directly from:
- Our in-library computers
- Your smartphone, using the North Yorkshire Libraries App
Please note that we’re unable to print directly from a memory stick, or connect a personal device directly to our photocopier — but our staff will be happy to help you find the best way to get your document printed!
Copying & Scanning
Our photocopier/scanner is available for use in the library for a small charge per copy. Need to send a document digitally? We can scan and send files straight to your email address, completely free of charge.
Laminating
We also offer a laminating service for both A4 and A3 documents, available for a small fee. Perfect for notices, certificates, or anything you’d like to keep in great condition!

Meeting Room Hire & Study Spaces
Need a space to meet, collaborate, or focus? Following our recent refurbishment, we’re delighted to offer a bright, well-equipped meeting room right here in the heart of the community!
Our Meeting Room
Our newly revived meeting room is perfect for small group meetings, planning sessions, or collaborative working. It comfortably seats up to six people around the table and comes fully equipped with:
- Whiteboard for notes, ideas, and brainstorming
- Extra lighting for a bright, comfortable working environment
- Access to printing, photocopying & scanning
- Free Wi-Fi
- Refreshments available for a small donation
Bookings are available in advance at just £10 per hour — simply ask at the library desk to reserve your slot.
Informal Study & Work Spaces
Prefer something more relaxed? Our main library area has small tables and comfortable chairs that are free to use during opening hours — ideal for solo study, catching up on work, or a quiet informal chat.
Need a Larger Space?
The Community Care Association, based in the same building, also has meeting rooms available for hire. Please note these are managed independently of the library — ask at the desk and we’ll point you in the right direction!
